North of downtown Chicago is a neighborhood called North Center, a former industrial corridor that’s transitioned into a bustling mix of residential and commercial activity.North Center is well known for 2 things. It’s home to dozens of service-oriented start-ups, digital agencies and creatives mostly located in the industrial buildings along the train tracks on Ravenswood. It’s also where you can find some of Chicago’s best micro-breweries, spirit distilleries and watering holes.
My name is Mark Bealin and I’m the founder of SearchLab, a search marketing agency located in North Center. I decided to film two of my favorite things coming together. I’m going to talk to some of the talented professionals in Chicago at some of the best drinking establishments in the city. This is Suds and Search.
Today I’ll be joined by the team from Digital Third Coast, a full service SEO and Paid Search agency that recently celebrated their 11th year in business. DTC was founded by Taylor Cimala and George Zlatin. Nathan Pabich joined shortly afterwards to run their paid search division. I’ve known the core team from DTC for 12 years and asked them to join me at DoveTail’s tasting room. DoveTail makes really good German-style beer and happens to be located directly across the street from SearchLab’s offices.
